Relationship with Shopify
The Services are hosted by Shopify. Shopify collects and processes personal information about your access to and use of the Services to provide and improve them for you. Information you submit to the Services is transmitted to and shared with Shopify and with third parties that may be located in countries other than where you live, to provide and improve the Services. In addition, to help protect, grow and improve our business, we use certain enhanced Shopify features incorporating data and information from your interactions with our store, other merchants and Shopify. To provide these enhanced features, Shopify may use personal information collected about your interactions with our store, other merchants and Shopify. In these circumstances, Shopify is responsible for processing your personal information, including responding to requests to exercise your rights regarding its use for these purposes. To learn more about how Shopify uses your personal information and any rights you may have, see the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy. Depending on where you live, you may exercise certain rights concerning your personal information through the Shopify Privacy Portal.
Third-party websites and links
The Services may contain links to websites or other online platforms operated by third parties. If you follow links to sites not affiliated with or controlled by us, review their privacy and security policies and other terms. We do not guarantee and are not responsible for the privacy or security of those sites, including the accuracy, completeness or reliability of information on them. Information you provide in public or semi-public places, including on third-party social media platforms, may also be visible to other users of the Services and/or those platforms without restriction on its use by us or a third party. Including these links does not in itself imply endorsement of the content or the owners or operators of those platforms, except as disclosed in the Services.
Children's information
The Services are not intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information about children under the age of majority in your jurisdiction. If you are the parent or guardian of a child who has provided us with personal information, contact us using the details below to request its deletion. As of the effective date of this Privacy Policy, we do not have actual knowledge that we "share" or "sell" personal information of individuals under 16, as those terms are defined in applicable law.
Security and retention of your information
No security measure is perfect or impenetrable, and we cannot guarantee "perfect security". Information you send us may also not be secure in transit. We recommend not using unsecured channels to communicate sensitive or confidential information to us.
How long we retain your personal information depends on factors such as whether it is needed to maintain your account, provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes or enforce applicable contracts and policies.
Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights concerning your personal information. These rights are not absolute, may apply only in certain circumstances, and in some cases we may decline your request as permitted by law.

If you live in the UK or European Economic Area, subject to exceptions and limitations under local law, you may also exercise the following rights in addition to those above:
- Objection to processing and restriction of processing: you may have the right to ask us to stop or restrict processing your personal information for certain purposes.

Cookie statement
Last updated: 29 October 2026.
This cookie statement accompanies the privacy statement of Atelier RLF. It explains which cookies and similar storage our Shopify store may use, their purposes and how to change your choices. Not every cookie is placed on every visit: this depends on factors including your choices, the features used and the version of Shopify.
Who is responsible?
Atelier RLF, Zandstraat 1, 6591 DA Gennep, Netherlands. Chamber of Commerce number: 42082727. Send questions to info@atelier-rlf.com or call +31 6 13814028. Shopify provides the store platform and its associated technical services.
What are cookies and similar technologies?
Cookies are small files saved by your browser. Local storage and session storage also save information in your browser. They can remember your cart, language or cookie preferences, for example. A pixel or script can transmit information about a visit, such as the page viewed, the time and technical device or browser information.
Essential cookies
These are needed for features including the cart, checkout, security and remembering your privacy choices. We do not request consent insofar as the technology is strictly necessary for the service you request. You can block them through your browser, but parts of the store may then not work correctly.
Analytics cookies and marketing
Shopify may use visit information to measure how the store is used and performs. Where required, prior consent for non-essential analytics, personalisation and marketing is requested through the cookie banner. Not making a choice, continuing to scroll or merely using the website does not constitute consent. You can reject non-essential cookies and continue using the store.
Atelier RLF uses Shopify Network Intelligence. Shopify may combine store and interaction data with information from other Shopify services for enhanced features, security, personalisation and advertising purposes. Shopify is independently responsible for certain processing activities. See the privacy statement above and the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy. At our check on 29 October 2026, no separate app pixels or custom pixels were connected in Shopify. Social media icons on our website are ordinary links, not embedded social feeds.
Cookie overview
The names and maximum standard durations below are based on Shopify's documentation for online stores. A cookie may expire earlier, be renewed or be replaced by a new version. Actual storage depends on your visit and choices.

The theme also saves rlf-language-selected in local storage to remember your explicit language choice until you clear the website data. rlf-language-detected is kept in session storage for the browser session to prevent repeated automatic switching. These values do not contain a name or email address.
For the latest list and explanations, see the Shopify Cookie Policy. Checkout, Shop Pay or a payment provider may use additional essential technologies for their own services; the relevant service's privacy information also applies.
Changing your choice or withdrawing consent
Use Cookie preferences at the top of this cookie statement or at the bottom of any page to reopen Shopify's preferences. You can withdraw consent for non-essential categories at any time. This does not affect your use of essential store functions and does not make earlier lawful processing unlawful.
You can also delete saved cookies and website data through your browser settings. This does not reverse measurement data that has already been transmitted. After deletion, the website may ask for your preferences again.
Social media links and external services
If you choose to open a link to Instagram, Pinterest or TikTok, you leave our website. That provider processes data under its own policies. The same applies to an external payment or account service you use. Consent to external tracking is not inferred from merely visiting our store.
Changes and questions
We update this statement when the technologies used change. The date above shows when this section was updated. For questions about cookies, use of your information or exercising your privacy rights, contact info@atelier-rlf.com. You can also lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
