Refund policy
14-day cooling-off period
As a consumer, you can withdraw from an online purchase at Atelier RLF within 14 days without giving a reason. The cooling-off period starts on the day after you, or a person you designate, receive the last item in your order. If the period ends on a weekend or public holiday, it is extended to the next working day.
Withdraw from your order
Withdraw from your order: open the online withdrawal form, enter the required order details and confirm your withdrawal. You do not need to create an account. After submitting, you will receive an acknowledgement by email.
You can also notify us before the cooling-off period ends by emailing info@atelier-rlf.com or writing to Atelier RLF, Zandstraat 1, 6591 DA Gennep, Netherlands. Include your name, order number and the items you wish to return. Any other clear statement is also valid. You do not have to give a reason or ask permission.
If you cannot complete the online notification, for example because of an extended deadline or an unrecognised order number, send your statement in time by email or post. A technical limitation of the form does not restrict your statutory rights.
Downloadable return form
Download the digitally fillable return and withdrawal form (PDF, in Dutch). You can complete the form digitally and email it, or print it and send it by post. Keep a copy. Use of this form is not compulsory.
Sending your artwork back
After notifying us of your withdrawal, you have a further 14 days to send the artwork back. You do not need to wait for permission to exercise your statutory right of withdrawal. Pack the work carefully, preferably in its original packaging, so that it is well protected in transit. Original packaging is not a condition of withdrawal.

Return costs and responsibility
For a return during the cooling-off period, you arrange and pay for return shipping yourself. The cost depends on the packed dimensions, weight and carrier you choose. Obtain a quote for the packed artwork beforehand; large works may require a specialist carrier. Keep proof of postage and preferably use a trackable service. When you arrange return shipping yourself, you bear the risk during withdrawal until we receive the artwork, unless we collect it ourselves.
This does not apply in the same way to an incorrectly supplied or faulty product: your statutory rights to an appropriate solution at no cost remain unaffected. Please contact us first in that case so we can agree on a suitable solution and any return instructions. We do not pass on costs that the law requires us to cover.
Refunds
If you withdraw from the entire order, we refund the purchase amount and any standard outbound delivery charges paid. We do not have to refund additional charges for a more expensive delivery method. For a partial return, the original delivery charges do not have to be refunded.
Refunds are made within 14 days of your withdrawal notification, using the same payment method and without additional fees. We may wait until we receive the work or you provide evidence that it has been sent back, whichever happens first, unless we offer to collect it ourselves.
You may examine an artwork as you would in a shop. You may be liable for diminished value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the work.
